A DJ That Comes Highly Recommended

My wife and I got married on September 9th, 2000. We had met Patrick at a local bridal show and his personality reeled us in.

He made us an offer that was much more economical and offered more than anyone else we had looked at, and actually made us feel like we had nothing to worry about when it came to the entertainment at our reception. We booked him that day.

Several months had passed when we booked Patrick and actually began planning the event. But, when we did begin putting things together, we found that we actually had very little to do. Patrick emailed me a wedding information sheet to fill out and my fiancée and I sat down with him for about an hour one evening to go over it and discuss any special requests. We were pleased to hear that he would not only "spin discs" but would make sure to involve EVERYONE in the fun. As a former entertainment director for a cruise line, he brought with him a lot of crowd participation games and props.

He was the ultimate professional. He was there (on time), professionally dressed, organized, and full of personality. My wife and I were refreshed at that point that we didn't have anything else to do...Patrick ran the show. He offered that service at the meeting we had...he could either sit back and let us delegate people to manage the event or he could act as the master of ceremonies and we could just follow his lead. Of course, after the last 9 months of planning a wedding for 300 people, my wife and I were ready to let someone else do all the work!

I cannot say enough about Patrick and his ability to make our reception one of the best wedding-related events I have ever been involved with (and not just because it was my wedding!) . Kelly and I had guests from all over the country who continue to write and call thanking US for such an incredible time and attributing a great deal of their enjoyment to "that DJ" with comments from our guests like, "that guy was awesome." "He really knew how to get people up out of their seats and party!" and "that DJ had the most fun doing his job. That made us want to have fun too." Kelly and I knew we had made the right decision in selecting Patrick. He has the ability to play to his audience. We had guests ranging in age from my 3-year-old niece to Kelly’s 82 year old grandmother and they were all dancing under Patrick’s direction...even Kelly’s grandmother! I think the clincher for me, however, was my 40 year old brother, who doesn't know what a dance floor is, ended up asking his wife to dance and stayed on the floor the rest of the night. She came up to me and thanked me for helping them both to have a great time...more fun than they had had in ages. Kelly and I both have been in the food & beverage industry for 10+ years each and we had a lot of friends there that were also in the business. Two of our friends took Patrick’s card that night and have used him for numerous occasions at their particular establishments in the last 7 weeks and continue to recommend him to their clients. My best friend, the best man, even booked Patrick that night for his wedding in September. 2001. Everyone was raving. Patrick made the party.

I will remember my reception forever for the good time that it was and the enjoyment shared by everyone. I cannot say "thank you" enough to Patrick Cooke because without him, I do not believe the party would have been has lively and energetic for as long as it was (6-12:30). If you are even considering other entertainment for your corporate events, don't. You don't need to look any farther than Patrick. He offers:

An energetic personality and the ability to play to his audience.
An extensive music collection (I think everyone's requests for special songs were filled at our wedding).
Great value for your money.
Professional service that accommodates your needs (he can just play music or he can be the emcee. That gets everyone involved in the party).
Great props and games that provide nice "dance breaks" and even better "comic relief." His party games will leave everyone in stitches!
A true desire to cater to your event and make it the best one ever. He wants to be there.

If I had known what a great time he would provide me and my guests when I booked him; I probably would have paid him double! (Don’t tell him I said that!!).
